About Us

Michelle Nichols:
I really started focusing on my craft in 2007.  Before that time, I had learned several basic crafting techniques and beading techniques.  I had a realization that I wanted to learn as much as possible from my grandma, Emlee, while she was willing and able to share her wealth of knowledge.

Our craft of choice in those days was beading.  Grandma showed me several techniques I hadn't learned yet, and she helped me solve problems as I encountered them.

As time progressed, I was able to figure out some things about myself as an artist.  I started branching out a bit and learning other techniques such as macrame, kumihimo, wire work, and most recently, silver smithing.

I love being able to learn new things and teach some things to others.  I love having a fun and relaxing hobby that has brought me closer to both my family and other artistic individuals.  Finally, I love having a better appreciation for art and beauty in its various forms.
